Class Policies:

  • Please call 412-362-0679 to register for class.
  • You can pay by debit card over the phone (note: we do NOT accept American Express nor Discover).
  • Alternatively, you can pay by check, mail to 5404 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.  We need to receive your check within 5 days of your phone registration.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early as class will start promptly on time!  We  have a large parking lot adjacent to out building at the intersection of Penn and Aiken.
  • Just like cultural/sporting events there is NO REFUND once you have registered for a class.  You may, however, send someone in your place.   If you give us 72 hours advance notice you may switch to another class. ABSOLUTELY NO CONSIDERATION FOR ‘NO SHOWS.
  • Gift Certificates are not refundable.  You may give them to another person if you do not want to come to class.
  • In case a class is canceled due to insufficient registration or inclement weather you may switch to another available class or receive a full refund.  Classes with less than 6 people will be canceled.
  • We reserve the right to make menu changes .
  • Please inform us of dietary restrictions/allergies when you register.  We will try and make some adjustments to accommodate your needs.
  • We would be happy to plan a class for people with special dietary needs (gluten free, vegetarian, lactose free, vegan, paleo etc). However, you would need to guarantee a minimum of 6 people for your class.
  • Children ages 8-12 can also attend class with a parent.  Half price for the child. Young adults 13 and up can attend an adult class on their own at full price.
  • PRIVATE PARTY means that particular date is already booked.

CULINARY EXCURSION TO TUSCANY (April 27-May 5, 2019… only 5 spots available)

If you like a quiet and relaxing vacation where you will learn to cook authentic Italian foods in a luxurious villa on a 30 acre estate in the “Heart of Tuscany” than this is the trip for you!

Join us at the villa Torre del Tartufo built in the 1700’s in the heart of Tuscany (Arezzo-Cortona-Florence-Siena region)

  • hands on cooking classes with no more that 14 people (NO experience necessary…just the love of food!)
  • four late afternoon hands-on classes taught by an English speaking Italian chef in the kitchen of the villa
  • additional cooking classes can be added if requested
  • dietary restrictions and vegans will be accomodated
  • breakfast, lunch and dinner meals are prepared and served at the villa (meals on your own when sightseeing)
  • organic foods used in classes….some of which are grown in their organic garden on the estate
  • meals serve outside, weather permitting
  • dinner meals served with wine and a wonderful selection of after dinner drinks
  • mornings are free for sightseeing on your own (car rental available at Florence airport)
  • a full day guided culinary excursion to include a winery, olive oil tasting, cheese tasting and of course time for shopping!
  • participants receive a cookbook of authentic recipes
  • Torre del Tartufo villa is complete with ensuite bedrooms, pool, hot tub, sauna, massage area, mountain bikes, free WiFi, laundry facilities, and a communal lounge with computer, kitchenette and TV.
  • flight, insurance, meals out of the villa, and car rental are additional

2 1/2 cups of vodka in glass jar. It is a two day process and you will finish it at home.
